Why I Started this Blog

I know there are a lot of blogs out there about Christianity and other religions. That’s why I believe it’s important for you to know why I started this blog.

I started this blog to encourage the people of God to seek Him first, to love Him more, to trust Him more, and to love His people without conditions and without prejudices.

There are so many people hurting that it breaks my heart. I want people to know that God loves them. He cares for them and is concerned about every aspect of their lives. This is the reason why Jesus came – to heal, to deliver, to restore, to set free, and to preach about the favor of Yahweh, our Father.

Jesus Came for a Reason

God sent his only begotten son, the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth to us to accomplish the reasons listed above. Jesus declared this in Luke 4:18-19, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord.”

I hope to accomplish these things through biblical studies, Hebrew and Greek word studies, and personal experiences. I may even comment on news articles that I find interesting that pertains to prophecies in the bible.

I Don’t Know Everything

I’m not going to pretend like I know everything, but what I do know I will try my best to explain it in a clear and concise way. However, sometimes, I am not as clear as I want to be. If you do not understand something I have written please feel free to comment on that particular article and I will find another way to explain it.

If you have any further insight into anything I have written I do welcome it as long as it is scripturally based because I believe the scriptures speak for themselves. I will not debate or argue about them because the scriptures forbid it in Titus 3:9 which says, “But avoid stupid controversies, genealogies, quarrels and fights about the Torah; because they are worthless and futile.” (CJB)

My only intent is to glorify God and speak the truth as I know it.

My Prayer

In closing, I echo the words of Paul in Ephesians 1:16b-19a, “In my prayers I keep asking the God of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, the glorious Father, to give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you will have full knowledge of him. I pray that he will give light to the eyes of your hearts, so that you will understand the hope to which he has called you, what rich glories there are in the inheritance he has promised his people, and how surpassingly great is his power working in us who trust him.” (CJB)
