Director Michael Chapman hopes the film, “The Ledge” will open up people’s minds to being more accepted of Atheists like “Brokeback Mountain” did for gay people. Chapman wants everyone to see it including Christians because Atheists hold a valid view point and should be heard also.

“The plot pits a conservative Christian husband against an atheist man trying to seduce his wife.” The movie was released Friday with actors Terrence Howard and Liv Tyler starring. I encourage you to read more about The Ledge.

As a believer would you watch this movie? Why or why not? Are the actors some of your favorite actors? If so, do you think you would look at them differently for playing in this film?

Jaycee Dugard: ‘Why I Could Not Escape Abduction’

By Nichole Dossous

At the age of 11 Jaycee Dugard was kidnapped and help in captivity until she was 18-years-old. Now at 31 she explained to ABC News in an interview why she was not able to escape, even though she was not tied up.

With mind manipulation and physical abuse at that young age, her captor, Phillip Garrido, controlled her. She was handcuffed and repeatedly raped, resulting in two live births.

She now has a memoir out called “A Stolen Life” detailing her ordeal and how she survived. Read more about Jaycee’s story.

Do you think you could have survived as long as Jaycee did? Do you think you could have gotten away? If so, how?
