Shabbat Shalom – Your Commandments are My Delight – Psalm 119:46-47

Shabbat Shalom!

“I shall not be put to shame, for I find my delight in Your commandments, which I love.”

Father God, I can never be put to shame for Your commandments guide me. They help me to live a righteous and loving life. When I make a mistake they help me to see Your mercy and compassion in forgiving me.

Your commandments are my delight and even though I’m not a master at keeping them all, You see me doing what I understand to do. You take me by the hand and lead me down the path of righteousness, teaching me more of Your sayings so I can become better every day at keeping Your Word.

Father, thank You for always honoring Your Word and showing me which way to go. Thank You for not letting me be put to shame by those who don’t follow Your commandments. Thank You for not allowing the enemy to get the last laugh at my expense since I follow Your ways.

You are awesome and I truly appreciate all You do for me.

Love Dawn

  1. Hello My Dear Sister in Christ,
I have just come across your blog and found it to be very encouraging. I was looking for a song, not sure of the title but it started with Yahweh, You are my refuge and strength… but could not find it. Only God is our refuge…I began searching and saw your comments that interest me.
Thank you Dawn for being so brave in penning these words of encouragement. I am blessed by them because you allow the Holy Spirit to speak. I can see that you write from a heart that loves God and our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. I am seeking to hear the voice of the Father again. I know He does speak but you can miss Him when you are distracted.
I’m a Senior, and it was touching to read and to hear your heart for the Lord.
I thank the Lord for you.
Keep speaking and declaring His love for the world.
You are not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for its the power of God unto salvation.
    God bless you!

    1. Oh my goodness Paulette! This comment means everything to me. As you can see how long it took me to reply back, I had life happen and stop writing for a long while. I hope you see this comment because I appreciate your comment so much. It has blessed my heart greatly. Thank you.
