From the moment this song comes on it makes me think of my Elohim. It makes me feel like I should be taking notice of something. Then when you hear the words you realize that is exactly what we need to do. Hear (Listen and obey) Israel! YHWH is one. He is the only one we worship, the only one we obey, the only one we listen to. There is no other God besides Him. He is the ONLY one we follow, worship and adore. Today, let’s take a moment and recognize Yahweh as the only true God.

Now this is the mitzvah, the laws and rulings which ADONAI your God ordered me to teach you for you to obey in the land you are crossing over to possess, so that you will fear ADONAI your God and observe all his regulations and mitzvot that I am giving you – you, your child and your grandchild – as long as you live, and so that you will have long life.
