Yahweh is Your Name

Yahweh is His name and He deserves to be praised. His name is not God, the Almighty, the Protector or any other title. His name is YHWH or in Modern Hebrew YHVH – Yod, Heh, Vav, Heh. It is the name He gives Moses after He tells him to call Him “I AM.” Moshe said […]

The Image of Jesus

Image of Jesus

In a day where image means everything, is there any reason why we shouldn’t have an image of Jesus Christ? After all, we see the image of Jesus Christ everywhere – books, cartoons, movies, jewelry, post cards, wall hangings, websites, bill boards, statutes, stain glass windows, giant crosses, candles, and many other places. All over […]

Say No to Excuses

I hear a lot of times how dumb and stupid Israel was in their day. After all, the Great I AM led them through a desert with a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night. After reading the scriptures I realize we are no different than Israel. We make excuses […]

Third Commandment: Do Not Take Name in Vain

October 1, 2012 By Dawn Leave a Comment

In my first two articles of this series, “To Keep the Ten Commandments or Not? Part 1” and “Part 2” I discussed whether or not we should keep the Ten Commandments. Are they for us today? Or are they something done away with and under the old law? Then I began addressing the commandments themselves. […]

To Keep the Ten Commandments or Not?

January 30, 2012 By Dawn Leave a Comment

There is so much debate about following the commandments of God as listed in the Torah (the first 5 books of the Bible). Some people say if you follow the Torah you are under the law and the law was done away with when Jesus died on the cross. Others believe if you don’t follow […]

I started this blog to encourage the people of God to seek Him first, to love Him more, to trust Him more, and to love His people without conditions and without prejudices.

There are so many people hurting that it breaks my heart. I want people to know that God loves them. He cares for them and is concerned about every aspect of their lives.
