Boast About God Almighty
In this week’s New Testament Quotes Old Testament we’re concentrating on 2 Corinthians 10:17 and Jeremiah 9:24. These verses focus on who we are to boast on, which is not what society is teaching us.

Society teaches us to brag about ourselves – what we have, what we do, what we experience, who we met, and more.
However, the scripture tells us something differently.

When we boast it ought to be about God Almighty and His son, Yeshua the Messiah (Jesus the Christ). This comes from the old and new testaments. So, instead of bragging about what we’ve done or who we’ve helped, let’s boast about how God has given us the ability to do what we do and how God has caused us to be able to help others.
2 Corinthians 10:17 says, “So, let anyone who wants to, boast about Adonai.” (CJB)
Jeremiah 9:24 says, “‘Instead, let the boaster boast about this: that he understands and knows me – that I am Adonai, practicing grace, justice and righteousness in the land; for in these things I take pleasure,’” says Adonai. (CJB)
