God is a Great Counselor
God is a great counselor if you take the time to listen and then do what He says to do. He is always available to listen to you. It doesn’t matter what time of day or night it is. He never sleeps or slumbers. Therefore, He is your 7 days a week counselor.
“I bless YHWH who gives me counsel; in the night also my heart instructs me.” – Psalm 16:7
Oh my wonderful Counselor! If it had not been for You, where would I be. When there’s no one there to talk to me, You are there. When I don’t know which way to turn, You are there helping me choose the right path.
In the night You speak to me through my dreams. You tell me what’s coming and how to prepare for it. You comfort me with wise words and strengthen me with vision of victory. You are a Mighty and Wonderful Counselor.
You never give up on me. You are constantly nudging me in the right direction. When I go my own way, You patiently wait for me to realize I’m following the wrong path.
When I suffered from anxiety to the point I thought I was having a heart attack, You showed in Your Word the scriptures I needed to combat and defeat anxiety.
Oh my wonderful Counselor! Where would I be if not for your advice?
