Hosanna to the Highest
The people shouted hosanna as Yeshua entered the city, “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of Yah, even the King of Israel!” They welcomed him as God’s representative on earth. Hosanna!!! They praised him and lifted him up like they would God. Hosanna!!!

This was the Messiah they had been waiting on. This was the Prince of Peace they had been hoping would come. They were just repeating from Psalm 118 what they believed.
This is how we ought to be – looking forward to the return of the Messiah. Waiting to shout praises to his name for keeping his word and coming back to save us.
So, they took palm branches and went out to meet Him, shouting, “‘Hoshia-na! Baruch ha-ba b’shem Adonai! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’ The King of Israel!” (John 12:13 TLV)
Hoshia-na! Please, Adonai, save now! We beseech You, Adonai, prosper us! Baruch haba b’Shem Adonai — Blessed is He who comes in the Name of Adonai. We bless you from the House of Adonai. (Psalm 118:25-26 TLV)
