How Should we look at the Ten Commandments Today?

We have grown up with the term “the ten commandments” without actually knowing what they say or if there really are just ten of them. We have been taught by our parents, the church, movies, and cartoons that God gave Israel, not us, the ten commandments.  The word commandment also has a negative connotation for […]

Yitro – Jethro – The Wisdom of Jethro, Moses’ Father-in-Law

When we look at history we see where our present-day life originated. We can see how we’ve improved some systems like plumbing. What is Righteousness? : CSW

Anytime you need to understand a word in the scriptures you must go to the first instant of that word to see how it was used.  In our case, we want to understand the word righteousness. Secrets of the Ten Commandments

Rabbi Mordechai Kraft

A Facebook friend of mine posted this video on her timeline. It looked interesting so I made time to listen to it. I was amazed at the level of understanding Rabbi Mordechai had. While most of the teachers I’ve heard who have taught on the Ten Commandments were mostly from a historical view point, Rabbi […]

The Image of Jesus

Image of Jesus

In a day where image means everything, is there any reason why we shouldn’t have an image of Jesus Christ? After all, we see the image of Jesus Christ everywhere – books, cartoons, movies, jewelry, post cards, wall hangings, websites, bill boards, statutes, stain glass windows, giant crosses, candles, and many other places. All over […]

In my first two articles of this series, “To Keep the Ten Commandments or Not? Part 1” and “Part 2” I discussed whether or not we should keep the Ten Commandments. Are they for us today? Or are they something done away with and under the old law? Then I began addressing the commandments themselves. […]

In my first two articles of this series, “To Keep the Ten Commandments or Not?” and “To Keep the Ten Commandments or Not? Pt. 2” I discussed whether or not we should keep the Ten Commandments. Then I began addressing the commandments themselves. The first commandment dealt with having no other gods before Yahweh. In […]

Hello, My Name is Dawn

I started this blog to encourage the people of God to seek Him first, to love Him more, to trust Him more, and to love His people without conditions and without prejudices.

There are so many people hurting that it breaks my heart. I want people to know that God loves them. He cares for them and is concerned about every aspect of their lives. This is the reason why Jesus came – to heal, to deliver, to restore, to set free, and to preach about the favor of Yahweh, our Father.
