God is with You Day and Night

God is with You Day and Night

We are wrapping up the building of the Mishkan (Tabernacle) of God. The people did all Moses told them to do and he blesses them in the end for it. Now Moses turns around and puts together the Mishkan the way God wants it done.  As a result of all of this obedience the glory […]

What an Amazing God We Serve

What an Amazing God We Serve

What’s amazing about God is that even though Israel messed up with the golden calf, He was still willing to dwell in the midst of them. He was willing to keep His promise and lead them to the promise land. He didn’t leave them to figure things out for themselves. He didn’t forsake them like […]

God Equips You for His Glory, Not Yours

Vayak’hel – He Assembled – God Equips You for His Glory, Not Yours

The thing I love about God is that He always equip you with what you need to accomplish what He called you to do. And if He has to He will give the gift you need to complete the task before you just like He did Bezalel.  Everything needed to build and beautify the Mishkan, […]

Which Scriptures in the Bible Can You Use to Prove You’re Following the Most High God?

Which Scriptures in the Bible Can You Use to Prove You're Following the Most High God?

In ancient times every god had their own days of celebration. When you kept that day everyone around you understood which god you were honoring and following. To not participate in a god’s celebration day indicated you had no dealings with that god.  The Great I AM was no different. He established feast days of […]

How Do You Respond to God’s Favor on Your Life?

Ki Tisa – When You Take – How Do You Respond to God’s Favor?

Associating God’s favor with material things is the way most people measure God’s favor on their lives – the bigger the house, the more expensive the car, or the popularity. That’s not how Moses viewed God’s favor.  First he associated God’s favor to knowing his name. Now you might say, “Well, God knows everyone’s name.” […]

Order the People to Keep the Light Burning All Night

You are to Order the People to Keep the Light Burning

We’ve come to the part of the Bible where most people either skim through or skip over entirely. It’s filled with details on building the Mishkan (Tabernacle), its furnishings and utensils, and its surrounding wall and everything that belonged inside the wall.  We say we get the gist of it and move along. I’m here […]

The Blueprint of God's House Should Excite You to Learn More

When God decided to dwell in the earth He wanted to create a home away from home. Thus, He showed Moses His Temple in heaven and admonished him to follow it exactly. He wasn’t to deviate from it, add to it or take away from it.  After collecting contributions, the very first thing God tells […]

A Willingness to Give to God to Build Him a Home in the Earth

Terumah – Contributions – A Willingness to Give to God to Build Him a Home in the Earth

God asked Moses to take a contribution for Him. This contribution was to be used to build the Mishkan (Tabernacle), the dwelling place of God. It would be the place where God would meet with Moses to instruct him so he could instruct the people. This place would allow God to live in the midst of […]

The Book of the Covenant Belongs to God, Israel, and You

The Book of the Covenant

The Exodus event was a marvelous sight. There were hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of people who were led out of horrible slavery by a man who represented an invisible God. This invisible God obliterated the major gods of Egypt, who they could see in statue form.  Absolutely amazing! Now they’re in the wilderness, […]

War on the Way to the Promise Land

War on the way to the promise land

Now we see why God had the children of Israel take weapons with them when they left Egypt.  On their journey to the land flowing with milk and honey, they encounter their first battle. Amalek attacks Israel. The reason isn’t given.  They meet up at Rephidim, which means, “resting places.” The Amalek attacked Israel while they […]

Hello, My Name is Dawn

I started this blog to encourage the people of God to seek Him first, to love Him more, to trust Him more, and to love His people without conditions and without prejudices.

There are so many people hurting that it breaks my heart. I want people to know that God loves them. He cares for them and is concerned about every aspect of their lives. This is the reason why Jesus came – to heal, to deliver, to restore, to set free, and to preach about the favor of Yahweh, our Father.
