Muslim Woman Turns to Jesus

November 17, 2014 By Dawn Leave a Comment

Muslim Woman Turns to Jesus: cswisdom.com

I found this testimony of a Muslim woman who became a Christian. Her story is a remarkable one. She married a man who promised to love her and give her the world. Then he started verbally abusing her. She thought something was wrong with her and Allah was mad at her so she intensified her […]

God and the Torah are the Same

November 8, 2012 By Dawn Leave a Comment

God is eternal

Every time I search the scriptures I am amazed at what I find. Today, I found the Torah being attributed the same attributes that describe YHVH Elohim himself. For me, I wouldn’t be able to say the law (Torah) was done away with, that is, no longer valid because I found that his Torah is […]

An Answer in a Dream about Torah

August 20, 2012 By Dawn Leave a Comment

Analyzing Dreams

Last year I was beginning to study the Torah. I am from a Christian background and what I learned is that the law was done away with because Jesus fulfilled it. I had stopped studying the Bible for myself and just went by what the pastor said. After leaving mainstream churches I began to study […]

My Great Nephew Died Today

June 8, 2011 By Dawn Leave a Comment

I was writing a follow up article on Pentecost today when I received a phone call from my sister. She told me my great-nephew died today. I want to share what’s on my heart, but out of respect for my family I will not post any pictures of him and refer to him as my […]

Speaking in Tongues Leads to Pride

April 5, 2011 By Dawn Leave a Comment

After discussing what unknown tongues were, what the tongues of angels were, and what the tongues of men were, we finally get to the portion of scripture that causes so many debates in the Christian world. This scripture passage is the reason I started these series of teachings on speaking in tongues. These famous scriptures […]

Disciples of Jesus Show Love

March 17, 2011 By Dawn Leave a Comment

Love is Action

Love is a powerful thing. Love determines where you go and who you follow. Love determines whether you stay or go. For me, it was because of a lack of love that I left a church once. It was also because of love that I stayed at another church. It was a lack of love […]

Move Forward…Out of the Past

March 2, 2011 By Dawn Leave a Comment

These last few weeks have been hard on me mentally. I haven’t really wanted to do much, but I realized that I can’t stay stagnant any longer. My friend Precious wouldn’t have wanted me to, just like I know my mother didn’t want me to. So I’m getting back into the game of life. I […]

Valentine’s Day Equals Love

February 14, 2011 By Dawn Leave a Comment

Whenever we hear the words “Valentine’s Day” we think of love. Between the movies, books, and songs we are bombarded by what love is, what it means, and how to express it. It is a day of love and romance for two people involved with each other. This is a day where two people show […]

Do You Love the Lord? Are You Sure?

November 15, 2010 By Dawn Leave a Comment

A lot of times we say we love Jesus, but I’m not so sure that is the truth. When we define love according to the scriptures and not our emotions, we see a very different love.

Mary, the Cause of Jesus’ Tears: Part 2

November 10, 2010 By Dawn Leave a Comment

She called Mary aside from the mourners and told her, “The Teacher is here and wants to see you.” (verse 28b) So Mary immediately went to him. (verse 29) When Jesus asked to see Mary she didn’t hesitate to leave. She didn’t excuse herself from the people. She got up and ran to see Jesus. […]

Hello, My Name is Dawn

I started this blog to encourage the people of God to seek Him first, to love Him more, to trust Him more, and to love His people without conditions and without prejudices.

There are so many people hurting that it breaks my heart. I want people to know that God loves them. He cares for them and is concerned about every aspect of their lives. This is the reason why Jesus came – to heal, to deliver, to restore, to set free, and to preach about the favor of Yahweh, our Father.
