My Grandson, a Gift from God

On June 21, 2010 I was telling my friend that I missed my grandson. I don’t get to see him like I did when he lived with me. I’m always wondering what he is doing. He will be one-year-old next week, yet he has more common sense than an adult. He is so smart.

When he gets sleepy he gets fussy, crying for no reason at all. I take him in my arms and pray. Immediately he quiets down. After I am done praying, if he hasn’t fallen asleep, he may start crying again. Each time I start to pray he gets quiet again and waits for me to finish. It’s as if he is listening for an answer to my prayers. Babies are amazing.

Well, the next day my daughter called me to see if I could babysit. All I can do is thank God for hearing me. The scriptures say in all things give thanks because all good things come from God. (1Thes. 5:18 & Deut. 26:11)

Gifts are Wonderful

My grandson is a blessing to me. He makes me smile and laugh. He amazes me. He’s attentive and watchful. He’s very observant and clever. He understands more than he should at his age. However, the most important thing is that he loves me a lot J. This I am ever so grateful to God for.

Prayer Time

Our Heavenly Father, who is in heaven,
We recognize and are grateful for the little things you do for us in our lives because they are what matter most. Thank you for every blessing you have given us.
In Yeshua the Messiah’s name, Amen.
