Please Understand My Heart

I have come across a lot of teachings concerning the Bible that has caused people to question what they believe in. In light of this I think it’s important for you to know where I am coming from. I read and listen to a lot of things about the Bible. When I find something useful or encouraging I post it.

My heart's desire

Those things that I question or feel someone else may question, even if I do understand it, I won’t write on the subject. I’m not trying to avoid controversy or stir up controversy to gain more followers to my blog. I am trying to live peaceably with man while turning people’s hearts toward YHVH. Therefore, I try to follow what the scriptures says,

You can trust what I have just said, and I want you to speak with confidence about these things, so that those who have put their trust in God may apply themselves to doing good deeds. These are both good in themselves and valuable to the community. But avoid stupid controversies, genealogies, quarrels and fights about the Torah; because they are worthless and futile. (Titus 3:8-9 CJB)

Watch out, so that no one will take you captive by means of philosophy and empty deceit, following human tradition which accords with the elemental spirits of the world but does not accord with the Messiah. (Colossians 2:8 CJB)

My desire is to present the Living Elohim to you. It is not to cause you to question your belief in YHVH. If I ever do that I want you to contact me immediately. I am not afraid of being wrong, but I am afraid of causing others to turn from Elohim. There is a stern warning to those who do. Yeshua said,

Whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me; and whoever ensnares one of these little ones who trust me, it would be better for him to have a millstone hung around his neck and be drowned in the open sea! (Matthew 18:5-6 CJB)

Yeshua is passionate about those who love and follow him because he opens the way to our Heavenly Father. I would never intentionally lead his children astray. I have enough issues of my own. I don’t need your blood on my hands too.

When I write articles or present anything on my blog I do it as an expression of my heart in some way. I will not post articles I don’t believe in. There will be no disclaimer saying, “These views are not necessarily those held by Common Sense Wisdom or its producer.” If I posted it, then I believe what I wrote is correct to the best of my knowledge. If I put a song up it’s because I listen to it. If I post another person’s information it’s because I believe that particular information could benefit you – not their entire site, not their whole ministry, just that article.

My desire is to teach you and sometimes, learn in the process, how to behave as a disciple of Yeshua the Messiah and as a child of the Living Elohim. It’s to teach what the scriptures say verses what man has been telling us for centuries.

I am not here to condemn you or pass judgment on you. I’m here to build you up. Sometimes, you might feel guilty after reading an article, but that has to do with you and Elohim. It has nothing to do with me. If you feel that way, ask Elohim to show you how to do better to please Him. Ultimately, at the end of the day everything falls on two commandments:

Rabbi, which of the mitzvot in the Torah is the most important?” He told him, “’You are to love ADONAI your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.’ This is the greatest and most important mitzvah. And a second is similar to it, ‘You are to love your neighbor as yourself.’ All of the Torah and the Prophets are dependent on these two mitzvot.” (Matthew 22:36-40 CJB)

I hope you have a better understanding of my heart’s desire when teaching the Word of YHVH. If you have any questions, please contact me. I will always answer questions to the best of my ability. Be blessed.
