I decided to start a series of study notes on the Bible. The purpose is to help you begin a study of your own, if you don’t already have a study going. This is a basic way to start your study and by no means an exhaustive or in-depth study.
The study notes will consist of summaries of the section I’ve read. Some will have charts, tables, and outlines to hopefully make things clearer for you. There will be questions I ask concerning certain verses that arise during my reading. Also, I will share thoughts I have while reading that certain section of scripture.
Please understand my thoughts are just that – my thoughts. They are not divine revelations, the truth in all of its glory, or a word from Yahweh Elohim. They are just my thoughts, which may be correct in interpreting that part of scripture or may not be correct at all. In either case I urge you to study for yourself.
If you want to further your study, I’ll periodically list online and off line study aids to help you. You can view one list of resources now. You can also look at some more questions you might want to answer when studying, especially whole books.
