Shabbat Shalom – Depart From Me, You Evildoers – Psalm 119:115

January 15, 2022 By Dawn Leave a Comment

“Depart from me, you evildoers, that I may keep the commandments of my God.”

Shabbat Shalom!

People try to make you feel bad for following God’s Word. They make excuses as to why they feel like you don’t have to follow His ways. That just believing is enough. The next time this happens to you, quote them the above scripture.

Depart from me, you evildoers

They will get upset with you. Just remind them that you’re doing what the scripture says – working out your own salvation. Suggest they do the same.

Remember, the closer you get to God, the more consecrated you have to be. You can’t do what everyone else is doing. You know what type of relationship you want with God. You know what it will take to get it. Go for it! Don’t let anyone get in your way.

Does this scripture empower you to draw closer to God? Why or why not? Tell us in the comments.

Daily Bible Verse

For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a rousing cry, with a call from one of the ruling angels, and with God’s shofar; those who died united with the Messiah will be the first to rise; then we who are left still alive will be caught up with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and thus we will always be with the Lord. — 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

Hello, My Name is Dawn

I started this blog to encourage the people of God to seek Him first, to love Him more, to trust Him more, and to love His people without conditions and without prejudices.

There are so many people hurting that it breaks my heart. I want people to know that God loves them. He cares for them and is concerned about every aspect of their lives. This is the reason why Jesus came – to heal, to deliver, to restore, to set free, and to preach about the favor of Yahweh, our Father.
