Psalm 36:5-10 praises Yahweh for being faithful and righteous. David compares his attributes to the highest and deepest of all creations. There is nothing like Yahweh and David knew that. He recognized that Yahweh was the only one who could save man and beast. And all of it is because of his grace that is precious and reaches to the heavens. Let’s praise Yahweh Elohim for being full of grace toward us who need his compassion daily. Let’s praise him for being ever so faithful, even when we aren’t. Let’s praise him for having a standard of righteousness that is as majestic as the mountains. Let’s praise Yahweh Elohim because he deserves it!

Yahweh, You are Righteous
Yahweh, in the heavens is your grace.
Your faithfulness reaches to the skies.
Your righteousness is like the mountains of God.
Your judgments are like the great deep.
You save man and beast, Yahweh.
How precious, God, is your grace!
People take refuge in the shadow of your wings. They feast on the rich bounty of your house, and you have them drink from the stream of your delights.
For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light.
Continue your grace to those who know you and your righteousness to the upright in heart.
