You can’t tell me God doesn’t care about what matters to us. You might think that what you’re stressing about is nothing. Sometimes, you might think you shouldn’t feel a certain way yourself. But the truth is that God loves us so much that He cares about every part of us. He cares about what matters to us, even if no one else does. He loves us so much it is ridiculous. He writes about all of our members in a book. He cares about everything we do, everything that concerns us, everything we love, hate, cry over, laugh, and rejoice about.
Every Tear Belongs to Him
He bottles up every last tear that drops from our eyes. Imagine – every single tear and he knows what each tear is for. When you ache he aches. When you cry he cries. When you laugh he laughs. He is AWESOME! Who else can you go to and know that he is listening to every word you are saying. He listens to what you say and what you don’t say with your mouth. He listens to your mind and heart. He listens to the groans deep in your spirit. He listens to all that concerns you. No one compares to him.
Most people will say it is the little things that show that a person cares for you. Here’s an example of my little thing. Preparing to go to bed one night I said to God, “Father, I don’t remember hearing the birds in the morning. Are they still there? I missed them.”
Then I went to bed. I woke up to an extremely peaceful morning. Still feeling sleepy I decided to go back to sleep. Then I heard a voice, “Listen.”
I shook my sleep off and listened. It took me a moment to focus. Then I heard it. I heard the birds. God asked the birds to sing for me. I thanked him for the tree outside my window and the birds. After that, I got up and went into the living room.
Jesus Does so Much for Us
After staring out the window for a few moments I realized something. I had another tree to look at. God had given me a tree for each room I spent the most time in. Then I thought about the rest of the apartment buildings on the block. No other building had trees as big as mine, if they had any at all.
God is good to me. Always has been. I don’t suspect he will change either. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever more. Who is like him? No one.
The Bible says there is no way to write about all that Jesus did while he was on earth. The world could not contain all of the books. I know this to be a true statement. Just thinking about all God has done for me only, not my children, or friends, or the rest of the population is a lot to write about.
He’s not only touching my life. He’s touching every single person’s life on this earth. If you actually took a look, a real look, at your life, you would know that God has done a lot of things for you. You may have attributed it to the Universe, to luck, to fate or maybe coincidence when really it was God, the creator of the universe, who did it. It is the Creator not the creation that blesses you.
Prayer Time
Our Heavenly Father, who is in heaven,
Thank you for caring so much for me. Thank you for the little things that mean a great deal to me. Thank you for creating the world and all the beauty that goes with it. You are the Creator of all that I see and don’t see. Thank you. I love you.
In Yeshua the Messiah’s name, Amen.
